The 100th edition of the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe took place this Sunday, October 3 at the ParisLongchamp racecourse. The German Torquator Tasso won at the expense of the favorites of the race.
(Zone-turf.fr) – Following Love’s package for veterinary reasons (hyperthermia), fourteen gallopers aged 3, 4 and 5 competed over the distance of 2400 meters and in heavy terrain in the Thoroughbred World Championship. The outsider Torquator Tasso surprised at 70/1 and gave Germany a third success in this prestigious race.

In a race led by the Anglaus Adayar , Torquator Tasso did not have a good trip since he traveled in third thickness before pronouncing his effort in the middle of the track in the final straight line to win in front of the favorite Irish Tarnawa and English Hurricane Lane . The host Adayar kept the fourth place ahead Sealiway , the first of the four French competitors.
