Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi Note 12T Pro will soon make its debut in China, with pre-booking commencing from May 30, 2023. The brand also teased the design and key specs of the smartphone ahead of the launch.
The Note 12T Pro appears quite similar to the Redmi Note 12 Pro which launched last year in China. The upcoming 12-series model will succeed the Redmi Note 11T Pro. Here’s what we can expect from the Redmi Note 12T Pro.
Redmi Note 12T Pro Features
According to the teaser shared by Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 12T Pro will feature an LCD screen with DC dimming. The panel will have a refresh rate of 144Hz and 20.5:9 aspect ratio.
As for the design, the Note 12T Pro sports thin bezels and a punch-hole notch at the front for the selfie camera. Powering the smartphone will be a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultra processor which is based on a 4nm process.
The Redmi Note 12T Pro was recently spotted on the Geekbench database last week. The smartphone, bearing the model number 23054RA19C, was listed on Geekbench with 12GB RAM. As for the performance, the smartphone bagged 1224 points in the single-core test and scored 3921 points in the multi-core test.
According to reports, the Note 12T Pro will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage when it launches in China. As for the operating system, the smartphone is expected to run Android 13-based MIUI 14 out of the box.
According to a 3C listing, the smartphone may feature 67W fast charging. Rumors suggest that the Redmi Note 12T Pro may be rebranded for global markets as the Redmi K60i.
With the 12T Pro’s entry into the Redmi Note 12 lineup, the series will comprise the Redmi Note 12 5G, the Redmi Note 12 Prothe Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G, the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition, the Redmi Note 12 Discovery Edition, and the Redmi Note 12T Turbo.
