Samsung Galaxy S22 family to launch in India with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, rumor claims

Live in India? Like Samsung flagships but hate Samsung Exynos chipsets? This will make you very happy!

According to a prolific India-based tipster, the upcoming Galaxy S22 family will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC in India. Time to rejoice, Snapdragon fans, as this is definitely not the norm.

Previous flagship Samsung families arrived in India with Exynos chipsets, but that all changes this year – if this rumor turns out to have been correct, of course. Anyway, we’ll find out in less than 48 hours as the official unveiling of the series is scheduled for February 9.
