Samsung removes the most filthy ads from Android

The tech giant has finally decided that it makes no sense to advertise itself (and others) ) in applications of the brand itself, such as spot 9to5Google. Standard Samsung apps, such as the Weather app, Samsung Pay and Samsung Health, no longer contain ads. Previously, advertising was done via banners, including for its own services and products.

But for whomever Samsung advertised, it is of course strange that users receive free services. from the manufacturer by looking at advertisements. After all, the revenue model of Samsung Health is not to generate advertising revenue.

The actual income from such an app is debatable. On the one hand, Samsung could do something with the data obtained by such apps. On the other hand, it could be that the company attracts people to the platform with such free services. Whatever the reason, it was a bit distasteful that the apps in question were giving space to ads all this time.
