São Paulo offers 150,000 vacancies for the Bolsa Trabalho Program

Contracts will be for five months and remuneration is BRL 540

The government of São Paulo has opened 150 thousand jobs for the Bolsa Trabalho, a state program that offers income and professional qualification opportunities for the unemployed population. Women, according to the government, will have priority in the vacancies.

The scholarship offered is R$ 540 per month for citizens to carry out activities in municipal or state public bodies. The workload is four hours a day, and the contract is for five months. In addition, there will be a professional qualification course for participants. The government’s investment is R$ 415 million.

Six courses are offered in the program: inventory production control assistant, administrative management, people management , event organization, administrative routines and services and secretariat and reception.

Applications will be accepted from residents of the state who are unemployed, are over 18 years of age and have a family income of up to R$550 per person. Enrollment will begin on January 25th and will run until February 7th. Entries are being made online.
