The Supreme Court has reprimanded the state government. Let us tell you that a young man was killed in an encounter that took place 19 years ago. Then it came to know that this encounter was fake and it was alleged that the administration was organized to save the policemen.
After this many governments came and went, but nothing could happen to the accused policemen. The victim’s father kept running to demand justice for the death of his beloved. Now they have seen a ray of hope with the order of the Supreme Court. The amount of fine will be deposited in the registry of the court by the UP government.
The bench of Justice Vineet Sharan and Justice Aniruddha Bose in the Supreme Court has remarked that there is direct evidence that this case How was the whole machinery of the government engaged in saving the accused police officers, because the father of the youth killed in that encounter, for the last 19 years, the police administration, court, court, ran everywhere for justice, but the administration did not help anyone with his tricks. Don’t let one go.
In the year 2002, the young man was killed in an encounter, after which questions were raised on the encounter. After the completion of the investigation, in 2005, all the charges against the policemen who committed murder on the pretext of encounter were dismissed by filing a closure report. The trial court did not agree with the report, and dismissed the report. Despite this, the accused policemen have not been arrested in any government since then. Not only this, the trial court had also ordered to stop the salaries of the accused policemen. But till 2018-19 this order also remained in cold storage.
At the same time, the fourth accused policeman, who was declared a fugitive, kept getting all the expenses of the prosecution of the case from the government treasury. On September 1 last month, the Supreme Court took the matter into its own hands and issued notice to the state government. After this there was strictness, then the government and administration felt that now something has to be done. After this, two policemen had to be arrested and the third surrendered. The court also wrote in its order that it is a matter to note that only after the notice was issued on 1st September, the soya administration came into action for 19 years. However, the Uttar Pradesh government told the court that the fourth accused is still absconding.
