Canadian goalkeeper Matt Tomkins will continue his career at Dynamo Moscow, Swedish journalist Johan reports on Twitter Svensson.
At the moment, the 27-year-old goalkeeper is playing in the Swedish Championship for Frölunda Indians, who are fourth in the standings with 59 points in 32 matches.
Tomkins was selected 199th overall by the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2012 National Hockey League Draft. He did not play a single match in the NHL, playing for various Indians’ farm clubs, and in 2021 he signed a contract with Frölunda.
Dynamo is currently in second place in the standings of the Western Conference of the KHL, scoring 64 points based on the results of 48 meetings.
