Through its Twitter account, the institution reminds that attention for DNI and Civil Registry procedures is carried out without need of an appointment since last Monday, October 4.

In this way, users can go at the usual time of 08 : 45 am to 4:45 pm, Monday through Friday, for these procedures. On Saturdays we will continue to attend only to pick up the DNI without an appointment until 12:45 pm
Last Tuesday Reniec also recalled that it has been extended, exceptionally, until December 31, 2021 , the validity of national identity documents (DNI) that have expired or are about to expire.
This extension allows people with expired DNI to access civil, commercial, administrative, judicial acts and, in general, acts that, by legal mandate, must be presented.
The Government declared six new non-working days for the remainder of the year, including this Monday, October 11 , in order to promote domestic tourism and boost the country’s economic reactivation.
