Starlink satellite dish attracts cats

The “Snow Melt Mode” obviously benefits not only Starlink users, but also their pets.

The Starlink satellite dish from SpaceX cats seem to serve as a welcome warm pad in winter, as a recent photo posted on Twitter makes clear. Starlink user Aaron Taylor‘s image shows 5 cats snuggled together on a bowl. “Starlink works great until the cats find out that the bowl gives off a little warmth on cold days,” he writes.

This is related to the so-called “Snow Melt Mode” together. With this feature, the dish can sense temperature and generate extra heat to prevent signal loss or degradation that can result from snow cover.

12,000 Starlink satellites planned in space

According to Tesmanian there is a monthly Starlink software upgrade for dish and router so that users always have a good signal while the Satellite constellation is getting bigger. SpaceX also recently released an improved rectangular Starlink dish.

According to user reports, Starlink delivers a download speed between 100 and 300 megabits per second. SpaceX operates approximately 1,944 Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit. In total, up to 42,000 Starlink satellites could eventually cover our planet circle. For the time being, 12,000 satellites have been approved by the US authority FCC (Federal Communications Commission).

Entanglement is the most extreme version of a quantum connection, where measuring one particle can tell you everything you need to know about

Volcanic Activity on Mars Upends Red Planet Assumptions

For decades planetary scientists assumed Mars was dead. Geologically, that is. Smaller than Earth, the planet would have cooled faster than ours after it formed. It was, for a time, quite volcanically active. The assumption was that when the interior temperature gradually decreased, so, too, did the planet's ability to generate large-scale geologic activity such
