The creator of The Haunting of Hill House has a new thrilling miniseries on Netflix: Midnight Mass. In this you follow a small community on an island, in which everyone looks out for each other and the church plays a major role. There, a young man returns from prison and a charismatic priest arrives.

The events that follow quickly have you on the edge of your seat. This is horror at its finest.

4. Y: The Last Man (Disney Plus)

All humans and animals with a Y chromosome suddenly die, but only one man and his monkey remain . This exciting series is based on the popular comic of the same name and soon feels more modern, because not all men have a Y chromosome. This allows the series to ask more compelling questions about gender than the comic.
