The SESI (Industry Social Service) school offers the possibility for students from low-income families in public education in Vilhena to earn full scholarships for children and teenagers. There are 300 grants for the cities of Vilhena, Cacoal and Porto Velho. In the city, the City of Vilhena is a partner in the dissemination of the project.
Enrollment ends on October 8th. There are vacancies for Basic Education, in the Elementary School series – Initial and Final Years and New High School. “It’s a very important action and we need to be making it known so that it can really reach the people who need it. Sesi has a highly qualified education, preparing these children and teenagers for higher education and also providing a good basis for the job market. These 300 grants can change the lives of these families. It is a commendable action and shows the entity’s concern for the socially vulnerable families of the municipality”, highlights the municipal secretary of Education, Amanda Areval.
The coordination also informs that for Vilhena there are 135 vacancies. “Those students who start in the first year will complete high school without any tuition fee or even with teaching materials, because the entity guarantees the free delivery of all teaching materials to these students”, explained the Sesi business coordinator , Romania Pedrosa.
“The main gain of studying is transformation, because the acquired knowledge is always transformative. The S system courses strengthen training, preparing students with knowledge fundamental to broaden horizons. He will be able to compete in the job market. Sesi and Senai also encourage entrepreneurship in their students, if they choose to open their own company, at the end of the course”, said the superintendent of Sesi in Rondônia, Alex Santiago.
REQUIREMENTS – Only students with an age compatible with the respective grade and/or year can participate. Candidates must be enrolled in the public school system in the year 2021 and complete ovate school performance in the act preceding enrollment, with an average of 80 points.
It is necessary to present a self-declaration of low income stating that you are in a low income situation or a document that proves to be beneficiary of the Federal Government’s Single Registry for Social Programs.
