What a bust! Yesterday the long-awaited new season of The summer house of the stars with Mola Adebisi (48), Lars Steinhöfel (35), Michelle Monballijn and many more. The broadcaster had expected the show to start a little differently, because the ratings left a lot to be desired. In fact, in the past few seasons of the reality format there has never been such a low audience rate as last night.
The start of the summer house was technically quite tough, like dwdl reported. While the market share in the first episode of the reality show last year was 18.7 percent, this year’s start only achieved 13.9 percent. The season with Andrej Mangold (34), Jenny Lange (27), Eva Benetatou (29) and Co. seems to have liked the viewers much better – at least better than episode one this year. In total, just under 1.77 million people saw the new Summer house – residents to which set a negative record in terms of ratings for the series.
Maybe this year’s season will but still just as explosive and successful as the last one – after all, the first drama between two of the candidates was already looming. Mike Cees-Monballijn was anything but enthusiastic than he was from the his wife’s previous relationship to Viva moderator Mola experienced.
