Ingredients

  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
  • 1 tsp Synergy Natural Chlorella
  • 1 tsp Synergy Natural Spirulina
  • 3 tbsp agave or stevia
  • 1 cup filtered water or plant milk
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped (or other leafy greens)

Method

  • Add all the ingredients except for the spinach to a blender and pulse until roughly chopped.
  • Add the spinach and blend on high for 30 secs or until the smoothie is creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add more almond milk.
  • Serve chilled.
  • Tip: Don’t throw away over-ripe bananas — peel and freeze them for smoothies.
