Temporary suspension of quarantine measure, but and the difference between quarantine and isolation, are explained by the Government of Romania for all people who during this period either do not really understand the differences between these measures or want to know more about them.
As of January 9, 2022, new preventive measures have been imposed against the spread of Coronavirus throughout Romania, and what you see below is part of the new set of rules that everyone must follow now.
Temporary suspension of the quarantine measure
For special situations involving participation in family events related to birth, marriage or death, travel for medical interventions / treatments in cases that do not support postponement such as oncological conditions, chronic renal failure in the program hemodialysis, not limited to, docu change identity, leaving the country, presenting at the vaccination center according to the schedule for vaccination, etc., the temporary suspension of the quarantine measure can be considered on the basis of supporting documents.
The analysis is performed at the level of the county centers for coordination and management of the intervention.
The difference between quarantine and isolation:
Quarantine is established for people who are not infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus but are in a in two cases: they arrive in Romania from other states or are in direct contact with an infected person.
For infected persons (who have a positive result in a PCR or antigen test)
