The detailing on this tattoo is insane

It’s gonna look shit after the second year.. all those fine lines will start to spread and fade a little. It will only look good while it’s still fresh

Tattoos will begin to fade as it heals and will not look as vibrant as when your artist first deposited the ink into your skin, but to your point, I wonder how embroiled-tats deteriorate over time? Have you seen one after a year?

Came here to say this. Unless this person takes mint care of it, sunscreen always, no tanning, the colour could still be close to as bright five years later. My sleeves are all all colour the oldest parts 6 years and they look almost new because I’m obsessed with sunscreen. & I lived in Orlando for years with them

Lmao that’s absolutely not true. In a decade that black will blend and it will lose the patch illusion. The line work is good and the image will be fine, it will just look more like a normal tattoo. The white will fade quickly too but it won’t look like shit it will just be less sharp.

You’re being generous. By the time the skin heals, the patch will look like someone didn’t peel that clear tape before ironing

Would a touch up be able to fix the bleeding of lines or would it be permanently messy looking? Asking cause I kind of want a tat and I’m tryna figure out what the medium is suited towards in terms of design limitations for practical reasons
