Battlefield 2042 Open Beta begins next week – will be available to early access players from October 6 and from October 8 to all other players. Beta ends on October 9, and preloading starts on October 5 for all gamers.

Beta will be available for players on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One / Series X A / S and PC platforms. Early access will be available to those who pre-order the game, as well as EA Play subscribers. The beta includes two modes – Conquest and Orbital, with four specials available. Users on the current generation PC and consoles will have access to the multiplayer with 128 players.

PC system requirements for Battlefield 2042 Open Beta are listed below, and more detailed requirements will be announced before the game’s launch, which is scheduled for November 20.

OS: 64-bit Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600

GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 560
RAM: 8GB
Video memory: 4GB

Recommended PC requirements

OS: 64-bit Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 or AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 or AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT
RAM: 16GB

Video memory: 8GB
Storage: 100GB free space

DirectX: 12
Online connection
