The events of the last year have significantly shuffled the ranking of the richest Czechs, which is prepared annually by Forbes magazine. It is headed by Renata Kellnerová, the widow of PPF founder Petr Kellner, who tragically died in March. Its assets amount to CZK 374.7 billion before the settlement of the inheritance.

The ranking of the richest Czechs is ruled by a woman
The second richest Czech is Karel Komárek, owner of the KKCG investment group, his property Forbes is estimated at 117.8 billion crowns. The third is Radovan Vítek with 103 billion, who does business mainly in real estate
Prime Minister Andrej Babiš is fifth in the ranking with assets of 74.9 billion crowns.
Aleš Zavoral, the founder of the Alza store, has recently appeared in the ten richest, his assets are estimated at 65 billion crowns.
Forbes pointed out that there are nine new names among the 100 richest Czechs, it has never been so much. Tomáš Čupr, the founder of the company rohlik.cz, is in 26th place, Jan Bednář is the 32nd founder of ShipMonk supplier services

The creators of the ranking pointed out that last year the technological start-ups and also the internet trade were successful. The Kijonk family, Zásilkovna, Josef and Ondřej Průš from Prusa Research, who deal with 3D printing, are also in the ranking.
The richest Czechs in the last year get rich. Last year the lower limit for ranking was 1.5 billion, this year it was 2.5 billion.
