The repaired lane between Vladaya and Dragichevo in the direction of Sofia will be put into operation until October 15. After that, the lane in the direction of Pernik is to be repaired, on which the traffic is currently carried out in both directions. Only then will both lanes be put into operation, according to the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works.
The funds for the complete rehabilitation of the lane in the direction of Pernik will be set in the budget for next year. Then options will be sought for the introduction of reverse traffic with traffic lights.
The Minister Violeta Komitova announced days ago that the means for placing the elastic fences will be provided from the ministry’s budget. They amount to BGN 946 thousand, and due to their lack the section could not be launched. The financing for marking will be provided from the budget of RIA and amounts to BGN 50 thousand
We remind you that the traffic in the section between Dragichevo and Vladaya should have been launched at the end of July, but due to the spent budget of RIA, there were no funds for marking and fencing. This led to kilometers of queues, and dissatisfied citizens protested several times.
During a meeting between Komitova and the mayor of Pernik Stanislav Vladimirov, today the question was raised about the road Rudartsi – Kladnitsa, which is also one of the busiest sections in the area. It is expected to be completed by December 1. Ivaylo Denchev, the head of RIA, has made a commitment for this.
