The Supreme Court’s majority seemed skeptical of the Biden administration’s authority to impose a vaccine-or-testing mandate on companies with 100 or more employees. To alleviate a shortage of school bus drivers nationwide, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration is allowing states to waive the portion of the licensing process that asks applicants to identify “under the hood” engine parts. Through March, New Jersey applicants for school bus driver licensing will be able to skip that part of the exam, the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission said. Applicants will still be required to pass all of the safety elements of the exam. (New Jersey 101.5)
