Red Bull a procédé hier en secret à Silverstone à son shakedown, avec Max Verstappen au volant.
Après la présentation officielle de la livrée sur une maquette, l’équipe autrichienne n’a toujours pas dévoilé de photos officielles de sa RB18. Celle-ci a enfin fuité sur Internet, en partie.
On peut voir sur la photo ci-dessus une information très importante : les suspensions avant sont à tirants, comme seule McLaren ne l’avait fait jusqu’ici.
Ce choix des pullrod à l’avant a certainement amené Red Bull à choisir la solution inverse, les pushrods, à l’arrière.
Les entrées d’air sont un peu moins carrées que sur l’AlphaTauri, mais Red Bull semble les avoir surélevées au maximum et avoir laissé une place importante pour faire circuler l’air entre ces derniers et le plancher.
