VIDEO. The error occurred in hundreds of Honda and Acura cars on the night between the years

Honda and Acura car owners encountered an unusual problem on the night of the year.

Specifically, drivers complained that the date and time on the Navi navigation system monitor , with the beginning of 2022, were reset on January 1, 2002.

This error has been reported in several Honda and Acura models in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Several drivers have tried to set the correct date manually, but they are reset again when the car is started.

Navigation system shows wrong date on Honda and Acura cars

According to autoblog.md , the situation is being discussed these days on thematic forums. The error appears to persist on several Honda and Acura models produced from 2004 to 2012.

A Honda representative announced that the car manufacturer is aware of this situation and that a solution is being tried. A similar answer came from Acura, the British subsidiary of the brand.

However, a group of Honda engineers reportedly announced on a forum that the issue would be resolved automatically in August 2022.

The good news is that this error does not affect the functionality of the car, but there is a possibility that the cars may be recalled to Honda service to reset the navigation system.
