“I am a junior world champion under 23 and bronze under 26! Wonderful last races before the Olympics, another dream came true for me,” Čerňanská said on her Facebook page. “A good start helped me the most in these races. And since my monobob is already on its way to Beijing, I also thank Liechtenstein, which provided me with a monobob, thanks to which I was able to race and win.” On Saturday, the Slovak representatives Pavol Táborský and Ján Marek Trebichavský, who presented themselves in doubles, also started at the World Championships in Igls. In the under-23 category, they took seventh place with a loss of 1.97 seconds to the winning German duo Laurin Zern, Rupert Schenk, and placed 14th in the junior category.
