Pharmacy employees in the canton of Vaud may have sold around 100 false Covid certificates or issued them to relatives. There is a risk of imprisonment of up to five years.
In the canton of Vaud, pharmacy employees have allegedly wrong Covid certificates issued. They are said to have passed this on to relatives, sometimes for money. The public prosecutor’s office has initiated an investigation.
The Cantonal Police in Vaud believe that around a hundred false certificates were issued to people who were neither vaccinated nor tested, as stated on Friday in a media release wrote. Investigations are ongoing to find out the authorship and extent of the forged certificates.
Anyone who creates or uses false Covid certificates could be prosecuted, the police continue to write. These offenses would be punished with fines and imprisonment of up to five years.
