LAS VEGAS – Alexis Davis beat Julija Stoliarenko with a unanimous decision Saturday on the preliminary card at UFC Fight Night 200 in Las Vegas.
Take a look inside the fight with Davis, a former women’s bantamweight title challenger who got back in the win column and has won two of her past three.
Davis on the fight’s key moment
“I knew she was great at her armbar. She’s had several armbar finishes. I was really just telling myself in my head, ‘This is obviously not the position you want to be in.’ But I just stayed calm and relaxed and worked my way through it.”

Davis on getting hit with an illegal upkick
“It kind of sucked. But so idd the punches to my face. I still felt OK afterward. Nobody wants to end a fight like that, win or lose. I don’t feel like it was intentional – just kind of in that moment. I didn’t even think about (her losing a point) until right now.”

Davis on what she wants next
“I’m hoping I get a chance to fight at least by summer. I want to keep active. I want to keep going. I want to push. I kind of feel like I have a new lease on life – at least on my fight life. I feel great. I feel like I want to keep pushing it. I want to keep this going. I feel like I have a new love for it that I didn’t have for a while.”
