Apple Arcade Wonderbox: The Adventure Maker has it all – and the world you jump on, and adventure, and action, and puzzles, and everything is finely wrapped in an aesthetic that resembles Pixar movies.
It is quite obvious that the new game is inspired by Zelda, more precisely by the Switch remake from 2019 – The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening. There are also hearts that mean life, caves full of monsters, wooden barrels ready to be destroyed, and there is a hero with a sword. That’s why they look at Wonderbox as another Zeldaklon, but it’s more than that.
There’s nothing wrong with cloning, if the duplicate is fun. Wonderbox it is. Beneath the Zelda skin is a new world, which again looks like some other games, but fun is guaranteed. Each adventure takes place in a special “box”, which the player can rotate to reveal all the secrets. At the end of each mission is the Heart of Adventure, the shining heart that concludes the chapter.
It is a game that has a lot to offer, and thanks to its light content, both adults and children can enjoy it.
