‎Saudi CITC issues rating indicator of service providers for Q3 2021

Saudi Arabia’s Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) published the rating indicator of service providers in terms of complaints received for the third quarter of 2021.

The total number of complaints received by the telecom regulator amounted to 8,693 in Q3 2021, down 41% year-on-year (YoY).

Mobile Telecommunications Company Saudi Arabia (Zain KSA) accounted for the highest number of complaints of mobile services in Q3 2021, with 10 complaints per 100,000 subscribers. Meanwhile, Virgin Mobile and Lebara Mobile KSA recorded the lowest number of complaints, with one complaint per 100,000 subscribers.

For fixed-line services, Etihad Etisalat Co. (Mobily) recorded the lowest number of complaints over the same period, with 23 complaints per 100,000 subscribers. 

Meanwhile, Zain KSA recorded the highest number of complaints received from fixed line users, with 91 complaints per 100,000 subscribers.
