Portugal had 13 deaths and 3,732 cases of covid-19 in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Directorate-General for Health (DGS) on the pandemic. This Sunday’s bulletin is atypical, after three consecutive days of more than 10,000 cases a day.
A total of 878 admissions to hospitals were also registered. — 21 more compared to the data in the previous bulletin, but 53 less than the previous Sunday. In the intensive care units (ICU), there are 151 people (one less than the day before).
They were active, in the last day, 101,719 covid-19 cases, 2,125 more than the day before. There are also 124,177 contacts under surveillance (+1,777).
Lisbon and Vale do Tejo is the region with the most cases (1640, 43.9% of the total), followed by do Norte (1,226), Center (400), Madeira (216), Alentejo (113), Algarve (100) and Azores (37).
