Doris Bizetić , gained great popularity in the 1990s when she, together with her father, singer-songwriter and showman Boris Bizetić participated in the TV program “BB show”.

We haven’t seen much of her in the media in recent years, we know she got married and gave birth to a daughter, but a lesser-known thing from her life is that she has been struggling with severe illness

Doris gave birth to a daughter Anabela in 2010, and six months later she felt very weak .

– Since I was born, I have felt that I am physically much weaker. I attributed this to childbirth, until one morning in the summer of 2011 I woke up almost blind ) . I went to the doctor immediately. It was stated that I lost almost 80 percent of my vision in one eye. That’s how it started – Doris once said.

Since many diseases have symptoms similar to multiple sclerosis, for almost two years none of the doctors was able to diagnose with certainty. :

– For two years I went for check-ups, examinations … Viruses and Lyme disease were suspected. Magnetic resonance imaging did not give a diagnosis either. I was scared. I’m sick, but I don’t know why. I didn’t know what to think. When they finally removed the fluid from my spine in 2013, which showed with certainty that it was multiple sclerosis, I felt relief for just a second. It’s good, I know what’s wrong with me.

Doris Bizetić’s illness is incurable

The real struggle begins when she realizes that her illness is incurable.

– I am most proud of the fact that I am still walking. People with this disease usually end up in a wheelchair. I’m still walking! I have severe back pain, strong light bothers me, I can’t stand noise, I’m sensitive to touch. But I don’t deny my daughter anything. I try that one day when she remembers her childhood, she doesn’t have to say how bad her mother was all the time. I want her to say how she had a happy childhood drawing and playing with her mother – she told Blic on that occasion.
