As a club official, he went through all the competitions. What are the goals of the new SsFZ chairman?

He is convinced that he is not an referee

The elections for the post of President of the Central Slovak Football Association were extremely balanced. In the first round, Stanislav Neuschl and Ľubomír Samotný won 24 votes, the third Igor Krško had one vote less. Two advanced to the second round, in which Neuschl, who had 37 votes, succeeded, while Only 33 alone Sportnet approached the new chairman, Stanislav Neuschl, to comment on the elections and outline his first steps at the head of the SsFZ Were you surprised at how close the difference was between the individual candidates? No, I was prepared for every vote to decide. That is why I was very active in the problems of clubs during the pre-election meetings. I will try to solve these problems.

I had strong opponents and I had to reckon with the fact that it would be very tight.

Voľby šéfa SsFZ budú elektronicky. Toto sú traja kandidáti na predsedu

What do you think convinced the delegates? I think I convinced them that I was not a judge, nor have I ever been one. I am a club official and I have gone through all the competitions: from regional to regional to professional, so I have an absolute overview and I know the pros and cons of all competitions. I have set myself the goal of raising small regional football federations so that they do not lag behind the big ones. Let’s start with the youth. I want new teams to be set up, as I mentioned in the pre-election interview, that is, five new teams are set up each year in each regional football association. I want to start it, but we have to give money to the coaches so that it can start. We hear everywhere we can’t, but I think it will work.
At present, however, we are seeing a decline in clubs, players and referees, especially in the southern part of central Slovakia. How do you want to solve it? Everything is happening because it has not been resolved. Young people did not increase at the same time as adults, and that is a problem. We have to attract them again. By this time of covid, the boys have had enough of mobile phones and computers, they already want a change, they lack movement. It is also a more widespread problem at school level, which is already a topic for the Ministry of Education. It is an endless struggle to fight. What will be your first steps at the head of SsFZ? We have to make the first meeting of the executive committee and, after the elections, start the individual members, set up commissions and they have to start working, because in a moment the competitions are starting for us. I want to do this so that anyone who is interested can apply to the commission. After half a year, we will review what was wrong and what was good, and we will take action. We want to move in that direction.

Extrémne napínavé voľby na strede. Novým predsedom Stanislav Neuschl

You worked as a manager of Sokol Dolná Ždaňa for almost two decades, later after joining Žiar nad Hronom FK Pohronie. How is your view of football as a long-standing club official different from the view of a referee or a union official I have a completely different view, but in the debates with colleagues we will try to coordinate those views.
What do you think will be the cooperation with your opponents? I am in favor of cooperating with anti-candidates, we have no problems with us. I want to unite, not divide. In your pre-election statements, you have outlined specific figures on how you would like to increase the number of cooperatives; in 11 regional unions, 55 cooperative preparations are to be added each year. What would you be happy with at the end of the parliamentary term? It’s still a long way off, we’re just getting started. But I want to meet those numbers. I’ll do my best to make those numbers really what I drew.
