Shiv Sena’s Rajya Sabha MP Priyanka Chaturvedi on Wednesday criticized the Congress party for not being part of the opposition in the Goa Assembly elections. Priyanka Chaturvedi said on Twitter that even though Congress does not want to tie up with anyone for Goa elections, it should not try to stop other parties from doing so. The Shiv Sena MP said that the Congress is not taking the opposition along, which is causing further divisions. This will only benefit BJP.
Elections in Goa are to be held in a single phase on February 14. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
