The matcha-latte nails trend is all about fresh, chic green manis. Whether it’s a muted creamier hue of green, an earthier tone, or a more vibrant green, there’s a matcha-latte shade to suit everyone.

Unsurprisingly, trend forecasters at WGSN dubbed matcha as a shade to watch this season. “[It’s] a tinted pastel with a soothing and calming quality,” the company says. “As consumers continue to deal with higher levels of anxiety and stress, colors that soothe the mind and bring a sense of rest and reflection will be more appealing.” It’s like dopamine dressing but for nails.

Plus, with 105.3 million views for matcha nails on TikTok, it’s clear that the link between wellness and beauty has never been so strong.

Thus it’s no surprise that the founder and CEO of The GelBottle Inc, Daisy Kalnina, predicts matcha latte will be the transitional shade from summer into the autumn months.
