Police have confirmed that a mother and daughter who were missing have been found safe and well.

Elizabeth Doran, aged 93 from Henley, and her daughter Julie Doran, aged 61 from Caversham, were reported missing on September 25.

Police believed that they may have travelled out of Henley and released an image which they believed showed them in Oxford on Tuesday.

It was thought that they were travelling around by bus and may have made journeys between Henley, Oxford and Reading.

Police thanked everyone who assisted in finding them.
