The build also includes the functionality to scan a QR code via the camera app and select payment options on the device to make a payment. However, this feature is currently available only in select regions.

Nothing has also added improvements in the pop-up view animations and bug fixes for the freeze issues that were reported in the Pop-up view. Error messages will also now be displayed during face unlock.

There are also improvements in the notification display in Quick Settings apart from adding time-stamp accuracy in photos.

The update, which is 119 MB in size, is said to roll out over the air and will reach users in a staged manner based on region. Users can check if they have received the update from Settings, then click on System and then select the System Update option.

The Nothing Phone 1 was launched last year for ₹32,999. It is available in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage space.
