A decree from the Government of Rondônia published in the Official Gazette on Wednesday (26) establishes remote work (home office or telework) for state public servants. The measure comes after the increase in cases of Covid-19 in Rondônia.
Decree N° 26,869 allows remote work for public servants in permanent positions, commissioned and in temporary employment, with preference for pregnant women, people with disabilities and people with responsibilities for the care of the sick or elderly, for example.According to the document, remote work can be performed outside the administrative units, provided that:
- the activities provided can be carried out by the internet,
- rules are followed such as achieving goals and productivity indicators, and
- a preparation of the Individualized Work Plan.
Through the decree, a limit of 50% of servers in remote work per body is established, who can work fully from home, or permanently with flexible hours, or even in a hybrid regime, with remote and face-to-face activities. During the remote regime, the server will not have to pay benefits such as transportation assistance.
