Swing For The Fences!

Each of you has a role to play in getting us over the $500,000 hump, but I want to home in on the heavy-hitters out there. We can’t do it without you, either. If you’re in a position to give into the four or five figures, we need you. We need you a lot. Click here.

It’s 100% true that the most generous contribution isn’t measured by the amount but by how much it hurts to give. In that sense, we continue to be awed by supporters who would give their last dollar to TPM. We thank you, we love you, and we can honestly say: Please, keep your last dollar.

Conversely, if your financial circumstances are more flush, if you can give a lot before it starts to hurt, your support is essential. It lets us do the journalism we do, provide free memberships to those in need, and keep our work accessible to everyone.

You have to decide for yourself your giving priorities: how much, to whom, and when. I can assure you we’re good stewards of our financial resources. We do a lot with what little we have. We pour as much of it into the mission of doing good journalism as we can. The time to do it, frankly, is now. I hope I can nudge you over the edge.

If you’re thinking of making a sizable contribution and have questions that aren’t answered herefeel free to reach out to me directly. My email address is on my bio page.
