What channel is Gonzaga vs. Michigan State on today? Time, TV schedule for 2022 Armed Forces Classic

One of the first big games of the 2022-23 college basketball season will play out on Friday, when No. 2 Gonzaga and Michigan State face off in the Armed Forces Classic.

The Bulldogs are coming off a season in which they won the Empire Classic, as well as the regular-season and conference WCC championships, en route to an NCAA Tournament run that ended in the Sweet 16. Gone are Chet Holmgren and Andrew Nembhard, but Drew Timme, a Sporting News preseason All-America selection, will be an impactful veteran for Mark Few’s team.

Michigan State enters the season ranked outside the top 25 for just the sixth time since Tom Izzo took over the program in 1996. The Spartans are coming off a 23-13 season in which they made March Madness as a 7-seed before losing in the second round to eventual Final Four participant Duke.

The ninth iteration of the Armed Forces Classic will see these teams face off on the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln off the coast of San Diego. It will be the first aircraft carrier game since 2012.
