Woman run over by tram and seriously injured

In Bättwil in Solothurn is on Friday evening a woman was seriously injured after falling on the tram tracks. She had to be taken to the hospital.

A 54-year-old woman fell on Friday evening at the tram stop in Bättwil SO and get under the tram that is just moving off. She was seriously but not life-threatening injured in the accident.

According to initial findings, the woman was up around 6:10 p.m. without any outside influence The canton police of Solothurn announced on Saturday that he fell from the platform at the Flüh stop. The casualty was first cared for by the emergency services on site and then taken to a hospital by an ambulance.
