Even before we set the clocks to summer time again, Xiaomi brings his newest smartphones to Europe. There are conflicting and consistent reports about how the market launch should go.
It seems pretty clear, even without official announcement, that at least the Xiaomi 12 will be on the market with us. The other two models have only had question marks so far. But these question marks may already be disappearing now. Multiple sources report consistent that the Xiaomi 12 series from the end of February is introduced in further international markets. This probably means India and Europe.
Notes and rumors: Pro model also in Europe?
In the previous year, we did not have the Pro model and with the Xiaomi 12 Pro, justified doubts also emerged. Now, of all things, a German mobile phone provider says that this time the Pro model will also be available on German soil starts. Who is behind this information will not be revealed
. The sales start is said to be on March 16. From today’s point of view, this means a waiting period of more than two months.
Based on the data situation, I would say that we can expect the Xiaomi 12 series in Europe by March at the latest. But it has not yet been fully confirmed whether the better Pro version will make it to us this time. After the debacle with the Mi 11 Ultra last year, you could make amends with it. It looks much worse for the 12X, but it might come to us under a different name as a POCO smartphone.
