Yaremchuk one step away from the first trophy with Benfica – video review of the battle for the final with a dramatic series of penalties

The match started perfectly for Lisbon. Roman Yaremchuk threw on Everton, who took advantage of unsuccessful actions of defenders and opened the score. The Ukrainian could also have scored the goal, but did not realize his chances.

Yaremchuk helped to score a goal and wasted a number of moments – Benfica made it to the League Cup final

After the break, Boavista played back, scoring a penalty. The game turned into an 11-meter series, in which Yaremchuk no longer took part. Roman was replaced in the 88th minute. But the partners did not disappoint – Vlahodimos repulsed one blow, and twice more Boavista players missed themselves. Benfica has struggled to reach the final and is one step away from the first trophy of the season.
