Fréjus: a man in possession of a head and a penis surrenders to the gendarmes

The 38-year-old respondent, who presented himself this Friday morning at the Fréjus gendarmerie, was taken into custody.
An individual claiming to have killed the day before a man presented himself on Friday January 7 at the gendarmerie brigade of Fréjus (Var), with a bag containing the head of a man and a penis, indicated the gendarmerie group of Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
The 38-year-old respondent “carried a severed head and the male genitalia of the victim whose identity he gave” , specified the Draguignan public prosecutor’s office, stating that he had seized the Toulon judicial police of this case.
The individual was placed in police custody and “must be the subject of a psychiatric expertise”, adds the press release. He was known to the police so far for ” small business ”, indicated, for its part, the judicial police of Toulon. On Friday evening, the investigators made “technical findings at the alleged crime scene”, at the home of the respondent. “ At this stage of the investigation, the motive for this crime is still uncertain”, specified the prosecution.
