Muslim woman dreams of man in white with injured feet and accepts Jesus

A dream awakened the faith of a young Muslim refugee from Syria, reported the Christian Aid Mission (CAM).

In the dream, Hala (not her real name) saw a man in white whose feet were bleeding. She feared that the bleeding in her feet symbolized an illness or some other problem.

“When I woke up, I was scared”, she told CAM. “Would something bad happen to me?”

Hala had already visited a church at the invitation of a local missionary, so she recognized that the man in white in her dream was Jesus . She remembers that, in the dream, people ran to join a crowd at the top of a hill.

“I heard a voice saying, ‘Leave your shoes and come.’ I wanted to go too, but I couldn’t find my shoes,” Hala told CAM. “So I went running and found that everyone was listening to a man wearing bright white clothes standing in the crowd.”

“Someone screamed and told me my feet were bleeding. When the man dressed in white heard that sound, he looked at me. At that moment, I looked at my feet and they stopped bleeding — all the blood was gone,” he added.

Then , something remarkable happened: “I looked at the man dressed in white and saw that his feet began to bleed.”

Afterwards Waking up, Hala took a book the missionary had given her and read: “He took our sicknesses” in reference to Isaiah 53:4-5.

“That night, I understood that actually the blood flowing from my feet was my sin, and Jesus took my sin,” she said. “My feet should have been bleeding, but it was Jesus’ feet.”

The next morning, Hala called the missionary , who was also from Syria. She told him that she wanted to put her faith in Jesus, as she had seen other people do. She accepted Jesus and announced her decision in church the following Sunday.
